Disclosure: I received this product in exchange for writing a review, but all opinions are my own. As an eclectic homeschooler I am always on the look out for new resources. Especially hands on resources, that compliment our Lessons. I was so excited to run across History Unboxed while looking for a subscription History program, and they graciously sent me a box in exchange for an honest review.
History Unboxed ships out monthly boxes containing activities that are focused on a specific historical period. These are some resources we will be using to compliment our Lesson Plan, and our current curriculum. If you've been following a long with our Lesson's plans you'd have noticed we are spending quite a bit of time studying Greek and Roman Mythology. In Today's Art Lesson we learned about Greek Pottery. We took some time to read about it here.
We talked about the Geometric Period and printed this free resource from School Liason.org.
We watched this video:
We also watched this one as well:
For Today's Art Project we printed our Greek Vase Pattern onto Red Card stock. Using a permanent marker Connor created his scene, and added designs to the vase.
Connor chose to create an epic battle on his vase.
We know how expensive it can be to homeschool, and that is why the printables on our site are free. If you decide you would like to give a small donation, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The donations help us maintain our Website, and continue to share our fun homeschool activities with you.
