A little about us:
Connor "The Kiddo": Is finishing 8th Grade. He has a great sense of humor and a kind heart. Although it doesn't define him, he is a Childhood Cancer Survivor. You can read more amount his journey to battle a brain tumor here. Connor enjoys Games of all sorts (Some of his favorites include Minecraft and Catan), He likes playing with his friends, and Baking for his Dog Treat Business.
Melissa "The Mom": Enjoys Blogging in her spare time. She is a previous In-Home Childcare provider and maintains a Blog for Childcare Providers. She also worked for a Large Communication company in California. She enjoys crafting, and creating DIY home decor on a tightwad budget.
Greg "The Dad": Is Awesome! He is an Electrician by Day and a Jedi by night.

We've been Homeschooling since 2009. We started homeschooling when the kiddo was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor at 6 (You can read more about his journey here). We've had a very eclectic homeschooling journey. We've had the School provide in-home instruction, we've used a charter school, and have participated in PS (Public School) PT P.E and Electives.
You can usually find us Glamping, at the Movies, playing board games or Traveling.

The Website:
We are not experts, but rather we are simply sharing a sneak peak into our lives. We enjoy sharing tips that work for us, and what we tried and didn't work for us-but might work for you.
This is a working Website for us. Connor and I use this Website daily for our lesson plans, and to record the things we do for the day. We hope you find something useful.

We have re-branded: If you were following under We Homeschool 1 or Inspired on a tightwad budget- Welcome! You will find the same content.
Why "The Box is Full?"
The name is two-fold for me.
1. Our weeks are full of many things. Between Homeschooling, Household projects and Traveling there is always something to be working on. Instead of having separate blogs for sharing all of these things, it's much easier to keep one.
2. We like to do things our own way-outside of the box! So rather than fit inside that "normal" box with everyone else-we're quite happy doing our our own thing and not worrying about trying to cram inside that "Full Box".
If you are following along, be sure to drop by our Facebook Page and Give us a "Like"!
Thanks for stopping by, we hope you'll find something you can use, create, or something that inspires you.
-Melissa
